Triple Bottom Line formed a dedicated team including software development, technical support and testing services and worked altogether with the second client’s software development team – all this created an effective combined work environment in New York, USA and Minsk, Belarus. PostgreSQL database was used in Master-Slave replication mode for high-availability. Media content delivery was organized from more than 100 WMS (Windows Media Services) servers organized in a custom CDN. |

Project overview | This media content distribution management system is designed as a part of our long-term IPTV project for the world’s leading online TV network based in Canada.The customer’s request was to develop a fully customized multimedia content distribution and substitution system. This content distribution management engine renders a new level of service allowing to efficiently build media broadcasting systems over the Internet. This system provides time-shifting and advertisements replacement capabilities, ensures extended fail over and stability, and delivers a set of new features, such as pre-, post-, and mid-roll (replacement) ads management.View the full list of Internet TV software features we can implement.Substitution system has a scalable modular architecture, based on various technologies. Its back end (Business Logic Layer) is implemented on Java and runs in JBoss cluster. Its frontend is in PHP and .NET is used for Windows Media Services management. PostgreSQL database is used in Master-Slave replication mode for high-availability.The system is capable of processing more than 300 media channels simultaneously, and can be easily extended or integrated with third-party systems (Ad Servers, DAMS). |

This privately held media company from the USA is focused on IP delivered video content and dedicated in creating a common Internet resource for the most complete access to international sports and entertainment online.
The first customer’s request was to create a fully functional and comprehensive media website. Triple Bottom Line was engaged in the whole website life-cycle implementation: from website design and HTML prototyping to CMS development and site implementation.
The idea of the second project was the implementation of a corporate web site that included the creation of professional graphic design and site architecture development.

Trailer Management System Project overview
The customer, located in Denmark, is a leading international syndication company that operates throughout the major European markets. Their system enables film distributors to increase the effectiveness of their online movie trailer campaigns through better control, tracking and reach.
The first project was a tender to single out the best contractor. The goal was to extend the latest version of JW FLV Player. We have added the following functionality:
When the movie is played, its title is shown.
Possibility to play a list of movies, a single movie and a selected trailer for the movie.
Possibility to select quality/size of the trailer being played.
Possibility to select any of several trailers to play (if movie has more than one trailer).
Possibility to select a movie from a play list.
Wizard page. It enables modification of player parameters by user and shows player preview. It also generates code for embedding player with applied parameters.

After successful accomplishment of that first small project, we were chosen to continue development services for the company.
The second project is setup of a transcoding platform, which enables upload of trailers in any format to the ftp server, their conversion into flv, wmv, and mov, and publishing of the converted files for further use. Initial files as well as all transcoding settings are saved on ftp server, in case there is need to reuse them.

Customer obtained a more convenient and extended player version and ability to paste the player into any website. Thanks to a simple solution made by Triple Bottom Line the media company improved its service greatly and attracted new partners. |
